The Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild (INPG) is hosting this seed swap in partnership with the Libraries of Stevens County (LOSC), FungiPermastead, the Northeast Washington Permaculture Guild (NEWPG), the Children of Earth Coalition (COEC) and the BZ Farm Collective.
We'll be meeting to exchange and sell seeds in the Colville Library basement on Friday 2/3/23 from 12:00-3:30pm located at 195 S. Oak St. Colville, WA 99114.
The INPG hosts annual seed swaps and encourages folks to learn and practice skills to become self reliant. Seed swaps are a good way to meet other local gardeners, which helps to foster a sense of community while saving you money.
This community seed swap is free and open to the public. Trade, sell or browse the seeds available from local members of the community. We encourage participants to bring heirloom and organic seeds adapted to this area's climate. Heirloom seeds are varieties that have been passed down generations. Organic seeds have been grown regeneratively and, if grown locally, are more adapted to our climate and to organic cultivation methods.
A limited number of tables are available for participants who wish to display their goods. A $5 per table donation is suggested as is donating 10% of gross sales to the Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild (INPG).
