We are seeking a property manager beginning in Spring 2023. We have three parcels totaling 25 acres in North Idaho. It is bordered on two sides by National Forest and there is a year-round creek running through it.
Responsibilities will include managing a garden and an orchard, managing an Airbnb rental, and managing and promoting our Hipcamp business and campsites. There is a caretaker on the property now to help with these things but someone with organizing and directing and communicating skills is needed, It will also involve promoting the property as a venue for gatherings and getting any farm goods produced to market. Currently, our focus is on nature and permaculture. In the future, we may branch out to retreats focused on primitive skills, meditation, yoga, and possibly church groups.
This may or may not be a residential position. Somebody with their own tiny home or RV could live here and manage the property, or it could be a local resident. Payment would be a percentage or commission on the proceeds from these and any other endeavors we can create. If you are living on the property we will agree on a monthly fair market rent deduction from any commissions. (It is not a "free rent" situation) This could be a three or four-season position. It might be perfect for a snowbird since we shut down operations during the winter.
If this interests you please share your experience/vision/proposal with me with this contact form: Farm contact form
Note, this map is not current, flooding in 2022 took out two campsites and both bridges.
Rebuilding is on the list.
