The Inland Northwest Permaculture Guild would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in our Tree and Plant Swap. We'd love it if you were able to come.
Location: Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane
4340 West Fort Wright Drive, Spokane
Saturday, March 25. Noon to 4:30pm
What's a Tree and Plant Swap? Kinda like a seed swap but a little later in the season-- fewer seeds and more live plant material.
10' x 10' and 10' x 20' spaces will be available (if you need more, like a truck space, let us know and we'll try and make it work).
People can give away, trade or sell plants, starts, pots, root divisions, seeds, tree seedlings, cuttings, scionwood, succulents, etc.
~We are asking folks bring only vigorous, healthy, no-chemical planting stock. This means no GMO. Words like 'heirloom,' 'organic,' 'open-pollinated,' 'unsprayed,' 'locally-adapted,' etc. come to mind when describing what we are hoping to see at the swap.
This year, it should be hopping. We are doing it in conjunction with the Spokane Sustainable Local Food Colloquium which is an event with workshops and lectures that should draw quite a few folks, plus we'll be advertising it to the general public so they will come even if they aren't part of the colloquium.
We're not charging for space at this swap, but we will be taking donations, so if vendors do well, they'll have the option of slipping INPG a few dollars after all is said and done.
Contact Chrys Ostrander (email@example.com) with any questions or just show up.
